unknown

Someone's dad asked me what I wanted to drink. What time is it? 10:27 am, too early for me. Looked around--too upscale, I need to leave. Walked through Erin's apartment. Put a bunch of fake fabric rose petals into my mouth, keep walking. Needed to go through the mall. Woman getting arrested. Told I couldn't get home, a crime scene in the way. Had my iPod everywhere, at one point almost fell off chair but stayed on. Lucky.

...

Worked for an adoption agency/orphanage. Everyone found out that a girl we thought was adopted is missing and never arrived at family. Everyone stressing, paranoid. Told not to mention anything to Bravo b/c cover up will give away project runway results.

11/12/08 Morning

Wanted to take a snack to class, poured sweet chips down my pants, walked around with them at my ankles. Discussion over who should do the dishes.

7/21/08 Midday

It started in Downtown Dallas. My mother was taking me on a trip to celebrate something. We didn't know where to go, but she told me she could find someone who would. We walk across a crowded room full of people in business suits. I am greeted--hugged--by Denise, a woman I have never seen or meet before. While my mother and Denise talk, I am almost hit with a rolling gate that two men are pushing. One apologizes to me and chastises the other for being reckless. My mother comes back and tells me we are going to the zoo. There, we will find a huge globe that we can look at and decide where we want to go.

...

It is beautiful and frightening at the same time. The sky is a vibrant orangish-pink, with streaks on blue and purple clouds. There is no earth, land, ground, anything to stand on. You can tell that whatever is currently under you is solid, but each new step comes with a risk. The whales swim right by you, but not in water, in the air.

7/1/08-afternoon

I was disappointed that I hadn't gotten a call back from the YMCA to return to my job as a camp counselor. The building was huge and no one was helpful. I saw the men I needed to talk to. They gestured for me to go away. I asked for directions and for a dog. I got lost and started crying. I found the orientation room. There was a test to see if we were prepared. I almost got bit by a weimaraner. I wasn't prepared.
